Family
Family. A word that means a lot to me. Anyone who’s ever met me will know that I value my tribe more than anything in this life. My family photography focuses on showing the love and the connection between you and your partner and children. There is a lot of running around (especially for my while I chase your kids), laughing, cuddling, being silly and just enjoying each others company. There really isn’t a right or wrong! It’s all about being in the moment.
Why invest in a family shoot?
- because (sorry for the cliché) your kids will grow up in the blink of an eye! They really will I’m afraid and you will very likely miss those long days and nights of breastfeeding or sterilising bottles and endless cuddles. Let’s talk in 5 years and tell me then if I’m wrong.
- because YOU need to be in the frame. Oh yes mama, I’m looking at you thinking that you need to loose more “baby weight” and make it to the hairdresser to colour in your roots and get your nails done before you can be photographed. I beg you, go ask your toddler right now if they think mummy is beautiful! I know exactly what they’ll tell you. Do not delay it!
- because you won’t be around forever. It is the reality of life. Children should always outlive their parents. It’s how the Universe works, in the best cases at least. One day you won’t around and the only think your babies will wish for is to see your beautiful and comforting face.
- because they are the best excuse to dress up and spend some quality time together. Make a day of it. Bring a picnic or go out for ice-cream or dinner afterwards. Treat yourselves! You deserve it!
